The business got started over 40 years ago as a one bay shop with a gas station, servicing lawn mowers and selling a few tires.  Founded by the late Edwin Hurst, the business expanded and eventually built a new, larger facility in 1964.

The shop is now owned by Edna Hurst Shonk and managed by her son Leon. Located at 3579 Division Highway in East Earl, Hurst's Tire Service sells all types of tires. They offer computerized four wheel alignment, tire truing and balancing, as well as PA State Inspection. Hurst's Tire Service offers name brand products from companies like Michelin, Jetzon, Dico, Good Year and Bridgestone.
